What are some of the good practices to have healthy teeth?
From my opinion, flossing, brushing, mouthwash and diet regularly. It is well known that brushing is very important to maintain teeth health, but did you know that flossing is also very very important, why?
There are at least 2 reasons: Firstly, it is to remove food particles, debris and plaque in areas where the toothbrush cannot reach. Secondly, anaerobic bacteria (bacteria that live without oxygen and die in the presence of oxygen) hide in-between teeth and under the gums. By flossing, you are pushing air (21% oxygen) in these areas, killing anaerobic bacteria, which is quite harmful to your health and is the main reason why gingivitis and related gum problems appear.
Some people may not tolerate string floss since it is difficult, not effective and even painful to do, because of these problems, electric water flosser was born to solve these problems, a water flosser becomes popular and is recognized since it can floss the teeth easily and effectively, for someone who has braces, crowns, implants and gum diseases, it becomes a best way to clean the teeth.
